Christmas Jumper Day 2024
We raised money for Macmillan Cancer Research with our ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ on Tuesday 17th December 2024. It was a cold and frosty morning (don’t worry, we’re not about to dive into a rendition of ‘here we go round the mulberry bush’) as the Watson Moore team prepared for a fun day ahead.
Not only was there a competition to decide who had the best Christmas jumper, we also had a range of games and fundraising activities, including a raffle, as well as ‘guess the number of skittles in the jar’ and ‘name the celebrity child’ games. And, as if that wasn’t enough, there was Christmas music, mince pies, balloons and fizzy drinks!
Mella won the best Christmas Jumper competition with her joke illusion jumper and was also able to identify the most celebrity children, including Angelina Jolie and Hugh Jackman. Jon guessed the closest with the skittles… there were 362, and so he won the skittles themselves!
Colleagues were asked to buy raffle tickets and donate to play the other games and Watson Moore would match whatever we raised on the day. We ended up raising £363.50 (after matching) for Macmillan Cancer Research and a good time was had by all! We would like to wish all our clients a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as we move into 2025.
