RUN FOR ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY

This September, my daughter and I are taking on the Richmond RUNFEST Half Marathon to support the Alzheimer’s Society. Alzheimer’s disease has changed lives forever. We lost my Mum to this devastating illness, and unfortunately my Dad is living with it too. Watching someone you love slowly lose all their memories and independence is something no family should have to experience.

That is why we’re taking on 13.1 miles in support of my Dad and for every other family facing the same journey.

The money we raise will help the Alzheimer’s Society continue its vital work, and any donations help fund research into dementia, provide advice and support for people living with this disease, while working towards a future where dementia no longer devastates lives. Every pound raised brings us closer to better treatments and ultimately a cure.
